The pair of allegedly mummified “alien corpses” that UFO researcher Jaime Maussan presented to the Mexican Congress in September have DNA belonging to an “unknown species,” analysts reportedly claimed.

A team of scientists analyzed DNA taken from them and found that they contained 30% non-human or “unknown species” DNA, the Daily Mail reported.

The experts also concluded that the alleged “alien corpses” were not forgeries but authentic remains of hominid creatures that lived in the past.

Although they did not say what the remaining 70% of DNA consisted of, enthusiasts speculated it could be human.

Skeptics dismissed the “alien corpses” as forgeries

During his first presentation of the skeletal specimens before the Mexican Congress in September, Maussan claimed he found the specimens, named Clara and Mauricio, in Peru in 2017.

He said they were non-human species, possibly of extraterrestrial origin. They lived and died about a thousand years ago.

The sensational claims met with widespread skepticism. Some skeptics claimed someone fraudulently assembled the specimens from bits and pieces of bones obtained from different animal parts.

However, skeptical enthusiast Will Galison agreed they were not forgeries but genuine artifacts created about 1,000 years ago.

Galison said his investigations revealed that a tomb robber stole them from an ancient Peruvian burial site and sold them to archaeologist Thierry Jarmin in 2016.

He suggested that ancient Incas might have constructed them centuries ago and used them as religious, ceremonial, or ritual effigies.

Medical experts allegedly confirmed they were not forgeries

Maussan has been trying to dispel allegations of forgery that skeptics and scientific experts made against him.

Paranormal Papers reported that soon after the public presentation, Maussan announced that he got a team of medical experts at Noor Clinic, Huixquilucan, Mexico City, to examine the specimens.

After conducting medical imaging examinations, they confirmed they were not forgeries.

Dr. José de Jesús Zalce Benitez of the Noor Clinic said the bones were not artificially assembled but belonged to a biological entity that was once alive.

They also claimed they found eggs in one of the specimens.

Experts testified during second Mexican Congress hearing

Maussan exhibited the “alien corpses” before the Mexican Congress a second time in November.

He came with a team of scientists who testified publicly that the specimens were not forgeries and that scans proved they were once living beings.

The scientists presented a letter signed by experts at the San Luis Gonzaga National University in Ica, Peru.

They said the corpses had “hybrid DNA,” suggesting they were part human and part non-human.

Argentine surgeon Celestino Adolfo Piotto proposed they were biologically advanced versions of modern Homo sapiens.
