Representative Tim Burchett, one of the House Oversight Committee members leading the subcommittee investigation into UFOs, has declared that the upcoming hearing will end the alleged government UFO coverup.
According to Burchett, officials have been saying that UFOs and aliens don’t exist while blocking efforts to obtain relevant records and documents containing the evidence.
He concluded that Americans have had enough and vowed that Congress would “get to the bottom” of the UFO question.
The representative from Tennessee offered his latest comments ahead of the upcoming hearing on UFOs scheduled for July 26, NewsNation reported.
Other members of the bipartisan House subcommittee investigating UFOs include Representatives Anna Paulina Luna (Republican from Florida), Eric Burlison (Republican from Missouri), and Jared Moskowitz (Democrat from Florida.).
Paranormal Papers reported that Burchett also named the witnesses for the hearing: David Grusch, Ryan Graves, and David Fravor.

Burchett said the information witnesses share with the committee will be made public.
He contrasted the upcoming hearing with previous ones when Congress could not share witness testimonies with the public because they contained classified information.
The Republican representative from Tennessee explained that the committee pushed for the hearing despite opposition from some members of Congress, the military, and intelligence agencies.
He added that they wanted the hearing to end the decades-long coverup of UFO information because Americans have the right to know the truth.
“We are going to get to the bottom of it, whatever the truth may be,” he declared. “We are done with the coverup.”
He argued that the situation in which the authorities assured Americans they had nothing to hide but continued blocking efforts to obtain records and documents was not sustainable.
Govt covering up UFOs since Roswell and Aurora, Congressman claimed
Paranormal Papers previously reported that Burchett raised the alarm over the invasion of U.S. air space by UFOs, saying that Americans should be concerned about it.
He alleged that the authorities may have been hiding information about UFOs since the 1947 Roswell incident or earlier since the 1897 Aurora Incident.
During an appearance on the Event Horizon podcast, Burchett claimed that alien technology is more advanced than human tech and that our militaries don’t stand a chance against them.
He added that E.T. military technology was so advanced that they could turn humans into “charcoal briquettes.”
Alien spacecraft also defy the laws of nature known to human physicists.
“They can travel light years with the speeds that we’ve seen, and they… uhm… defy physics as we know it,” he said.
Moskowitz: “The American public deserves to know”
Subcommittee member Rep. Jared Moskowitz explained that the hearing on UFOs was to ensure government transparency.
The Democratic representative from Florida said that intelligence officials did not tell members of Congress who inquired that UFOs don’t exist. Instead, they claimed they weren’t allowed to talk about it.
Moskowitz argued that the response did not help because it has led to speculation, rumors, and conspiracy theories.
The representative added that it was time for the officials to tell Congress what they knew about UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence.
He insisted that taxpaying Americans have a right to know what the government was spending their money on.
Majority of Americans believe government is hiding UFO info
The latest development comes after a poll showed that most Americans believe the authorities are hiding UFO information.
New polling conducted on July 6 for Newsweek by Redfield & Wilton Strategies found that 57% of eligible U.S. voters believed the intelligence agencies were concealing information about extraterrestrial technology.
A minority, 21%, said they did not believe the authorities were hiding information, while 22% did not know.
A whopping 60% agreed that the military establishment and intelligence agencies would be able to hide information about the existence of extraterrestrials if they wanted to.
Thirty-four percent believed whistleblower claims that the authorities retrieved flying vehicles of non-human origin, while 36% did not.
Forty percent supported Congress investigating the claims. Only 10% opposed it.
