Two Loch Ness Monster enthusiasts believe they sighted the legendary lake monster in August.

Fiona Wade reported the first sighting in the middle of the deep freshwater lake southwest of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.

Wade reported seeing “three odd shapes” breaching the surface on the morning of August 31. The shapes were visible on the surface for several seconds before disappearing.

“Odd shapes” were “like nothing I have seen before”

Wade said the three shapes from the deep lake were unlike anything she had ever seen. She believed the Loch Ness Monster came to the surface for a breather.

“I can only describe it as Nessie as I can’t think of any logical thing it could have been,” she said, according to the Daily Star.

According to Wade, the strange form first appeared like a periscope peeping discreetly above the water close to the bank. Two curved or hump-like surfaces emerged gradually afterward. The creature then swam to the middle of the lake, between Foyers and Whitebridge.

She added that the sighting was unusual. She had seen other animals in the water, but this was unusually large, and she couldn’t miss it.

As it swam, it generated a wake that indicated it was a large creature.

Second witness also reported seeing odd shapes

Wade was not the only person who saw “three odd shapes” moving in the lake.

A second witness, Alastair Gray, also claimed they saw “three odd and seemingly connected shapes” in the lake. The alleged sighting reportedly occurred on the southwest side of the lake.

Wade also saw the three shapes from a nearby location. The similarity between their accounts suggested they saw the same beast.

Wade submitted a report of the sighting to the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register.

Veteran Nessie hunter reported a baby Nessie

The latest alleged monster sightings come after a veteran Nessie hunter claimed to have seen a strange beast with spots in Loch Ness.

Monster hunter Eoin O’Faodhagain reported that while monitoring the lake on webcams at Shoreland Lodges on the southern shore, he saw a grayish 2-foot-long beast with spots.

He believed it was a baby Nessie because it was much smaller than an adult. Experts say that adults grow up to 30 feet long.

He commented that the spots on the back of the mysterious beast were unusual. He wasn’t aware of any loch creature with spots. So, he concluded it had to be a Nessie.

He sighted the alleged baby Nessie only months after seeing two separate humps in the loch. He concluded that Nessie shared the lake with a mate.

The reported sighting suggested that Nessie and his alleged mate were raising a family in Loch Ness.
